The Gove Peninsula Futures Reference Group (the Reference Group) was established in 2019 with members from Rirratjiŋu Aboriginal Corporation, Gumatj Corporation Ltd, Northern Land Council, Rio Tinto, the Northern Territory Government and the Commonwealth Government.

To support a positive transition, the Reference Group is working collaboratively to facilitate the planning for a sustainable post-mining future for the benefit of Yolŋu landowners, local communities, business and industry.
