The Reference Group is drawing on learnings from the Gove Mine Closure Socio-Economic Impact Assessment PDF (12.8 MB) which provided insights into the impacts of mining transition and closure on the local population and economy. The Socio-Economic Impact Assessment (SEIA) defines possible future scenarios for the Gove Peninsula based on real initiatives that are in differing stages of development.
